Shrimp by Color is an independent price index for freshwater aquarium shrimp. We aggregate publicly available listings from third-party sellers and organize them by color so you can compare prices in one place. We are not a store: we don't sell livestock, process orders, or handle shipping. Every purchase happens on the seller's own website, under the seller's own terms.
Information on this site is provided "as is", for comparison and informational purposes only, without warranty of any kind. Prices, grades, stock status, and availability are gathered automatically and may be out of date or differ from what a seller currently offers. Always confirm the current price, availability, and shipping terms on the seller's own page before buying. Color, grade, and care labels are general guidance, not promises about any specific animal. We are not responsible for any transaction, shipment, or livestock health issue arising from a purchase made with a third-party seller.

Shrimp by Color is free and tip-supported. If you find it useful you can leave a tip through PayPal or Buy Me a Coffee — entirely optional, and nothing on the site is gated behind it.
We are not a charity. Shrimp by Color is not a registered nonprofit or tax-exempt organization. Tips are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible, and we do not issue receipts for tax purposes.
A tip does not buy anything. Tips are voluntary support for the running costs of the site. They do not purchase goods, services, livestock, membership, a listing, a placement, or a better ranking, and they carry no expectation of anything in return. Because nothing is being sold, tips are generally not refundable — but if you tipped by mistake, email us and we will sort it out.
Payments are handled entirely by PayPal and Buy Me a Coffee under their own terms and privacy policies. We never see or store your card or bank details.
We run no advertising and no affiliate links: we earn nothing when you click through to a seller, and no seller pays us for a listing. Listings within a card are ordered by price alone. There are currently no paid or sponsored placements anywhere on the site. If that ever changes, any paid placement will be clearly labelled as such on the listing itself, and this page will be updated to say so.
Trademarks. Seller and brand names — and PayPal and Buy Me a Coffee — are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to identify a seller or a payment method (nominative fair use). Their appearance here does not imply any partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation.
The shrimp icons — recoloured to match each morph — are adapted from Twemoji, © Twitter, Inc. and other contributors, licensed under CC-BY 4.0. We host our adapted copies ourselves rather than linking to anyone else's servers.
